As part of the KYW Newsradio team for over 37 years, Ed Abrams was the voice of news for the Philadelphia area. Ed’s passion for reporting has taken him from Wilmington, DE, to Pittsburgh, PA, to Tampa, FL and back. He’s experienced everything East Coast weather has to offer, and knows what it takes to stay cool and comfortable. Today, Ed’s trusted voice can be heard on KYW as the voice of another long-time, local pro: Horizon Services!

- Station Birthday: November 1979! I retired after 37 incredible years with KYW. Today I’m working on lowering my handicap and connecting with golf fans!

- Social Media: I spend lots of time outdoors, so you’re likely to see me in posts from other golfers!

- Favorite Charities: I’m a proud supporter of the Special Olympics – from emceeing charity events to cheering for my son as he participates in the games.
